Don't think there will be any pregnant rumours this time. She looks in incredible shape.

She's been going for a lot of black lately. This is a good look.

She's worn Lanvin 2 nights in a row. No Dior, yay.

Fave look in like forever  I was seriously worried that she would wear a hideous Dior dress, from the new collection thank goodness for Lanvin, Stunning :D

The Playlist review evoked To The Wonder a bit too much for my liking. Although my biggest problem with that film was Ben Affleck. I just felt like he didn't mesh with Malick's world.

Natalie looks great.

I'm not surprised by the polarizing reviews of the film. After all, Malick is someone that doesn't play by anyone's rules nor is interesting in creating anything new. Days of Heaven was well-received initially. Neither was The New World but those films have managed to get a better reception and lots of discussions over the years so it's likely that Knight of Cups might be the same thing.

She looks amazing, great stuff. Could do with a cheese burger though haha.

Little disappointed that the reviews aren't as good as I was hoping, but I was always looking forward more to the second Malick film.

Best appearance in...forever! She looks incredible! It's no coincidence that the dress wasn't Dior! :D

And Zimbio has a lot of photos:

It was a long day yesterday and a little bittersweet too. Reviews of the film are quite hard and honestly expected more from this movie. Hopefully the "Untitled film" is better...

Comments about "A Tale of Love and Darkness" found by Lightcamerareaction are exciting, and if it premieres in Cannes, can be a great time for Natalie.

Someone again from Awardswatch saw the film and posted this:

And I saw Knight of Cups a few hours ago, btw.

Liked it very much even if not every single element worked for me. The religious aspect is nowhere near as pronounced as in To The Wonder or in The Tree of Life (much to McT's and anti-religious critics' relief); it's actually not even made clear what Bale's solution for his crisis was, which makes the film very mysterious and probably even a little frustrating for some. Blanchett and especially Portman have less screentime than I expected. The film is visually extraordinary but not so typically Malick beautiful; the exaltation of the natural world isn't to be found here at all but the expressiveness of the shot reaches new highs here, even if the editing and camera angles become more and more obtuse. What I got from the film is that it's about the rut of hedonism and simply don't know how the hell to get out of it; the readings from the Pilgrim's Progress would make it seem the answer is God but the film is simply more about what it feels like to have a full-on existential crisis and not know where to go to or what to do in order to get out of it. The film doesn't make clear the solution is any kind of religion or anything of the sort; it seems it's more about the failure of not being able to love, which would be a kind of different theme for Malick this time around and the beauty of the film is that it's mourning poem about the waste of a life without love.

Will comment more on it later.

And of course, I asked him how many minutes of screentime he thinks she has.
I'll edit this post when he replies.

The reviews say about ten minutes. Obviously, the real star of the film is Bale. Malick's next film will be much better in that aspect :P
