What such man would see
He sees
And what he saw
Would watch in awe
For he's already free

Some people like to say that there's no proof of God, but no one can deny that life moves in mysterious ways.

I thought of a response to that of struggling between projects. Very interesting thing to ponder. Dealt with it. Deep sense of loss maybe. Or living in a space where one seems lost. Doesn't really matter the reason. But finding something in that space that makes you feel as alive as you would feel in the other. That's what's needed. Fighting the urge of pessimism and desperation that comes with it, and turning it into something positive. The notion of a higher purpose that fills all the aspects of your life, both the low and desperate moments as much as the happier ones. To define your life as an individual you need them both. It's great that what you're best at be front and center in your life, but it's not enough. Life is a lot more than that.

That's all I have to say about that.

Who can let go
What never held
Or sweat
With no heat
What would never be
Was never
What could have been
What person found
Remains within

What message would be
Would be secret
Or whom for
Which might reveal
What was not known before

From what menace
He hides
What be said

This is one of the most interesting ironies I know of. It's about Islam. The fact is that before Muhammad met Khadija he was nobody. If he hadn't met Khadija Muhammad would've been nobody. It was Khadija who insisted Muhammad was the prophet. It was Khadija who believed he was the prophet even before Muhammad saw himself as the prophet. She practically rescued him. She convinced him to write the Quran. She spread Islam to absolutely everybody she knew. She essentially financed the whole thing from the start. When she died Islam almost collapsed. Muhammad lost any leverage he had to spread Islam after she died. Right after she died he even lost almost all of his followers and was persecuted to death. Muhammad spent the entire rest of his life building what she started. Islam, the religion of Allah, was started by a woman.

One can ignore
Or more
Walk a road
With care
Or kindness of such kind
As no one would find
And even still
Would never mind
How such deep suffering
Is always there
Just or unjust to bear

Muhammad's historical period was particularly chaotic, pretty much the beginning of the dark ages in Europe. What is considered Muhammad's rule was largely a symbolic rule, a lot like the Dalai Lama today. He acted as mediator of peace between tribes in what was really an uneasy alliance held by Muhammad himself. He didn't command the military and political authority of any ordinary ruler of the time, although he was no doubt the most powerful man during that time, he was practically destitute when he died. All that stuff with the sharia law started with the rise of the Ottoman sultans.

Aristotle said that the soul is the only part of the body that occupies no space. It is not an object and it doesn't decay, therefor it cannot die. It is immortal.
