LOL

They make a damn cute couple.. I saw the last half of that movie the other night. It was very touching.. it's a beautiful love story. I thought the ending was kind of weak though..

I have only seen small parts of the film. I was afraid it might be depressing or sad, because I've heard people around me mention they felt that. I'll see it eventually, mainly because I'm totally obsessed with Ledger now.

I really wanna see it but I'm not in the mood to hear my dad call me a homo. He keeps telling me heath is disgusting cuz he kissed a guy and it's totally evil.. yet he can tell me if he was gay he'd be gay for George Clooney. So confusing.

My dad hates gay people. I don't see what the fuck is such a big deal.

Make it a joke Nattie.. tell your dad you got it for him because he's a homo.. then pretend to make him watch it. He will probably end up liking it. It is really well done. It made a homophobe like me appreciate love between 2 men..

I can only really speak for the second half though.. haha That's all I've seen unfortunately.

Gays don't bug me in the least. Hell, I've met a few gay dudes. They were great! My great uncle Steve is gay as well and him and his partner are some of the sweetest people I've ever met. He did nothing but praise that movie.

I have no problem with gay people.. I have a gay uncle too.. haha but I can still be homophobic.. just out of immaturity really.

That's really what Brokeback is illustrating. How our culture is very homophobic. The whole US isn't as bad as the setting in BrokeBack -- the South -- but it's not too far off.

Yeah really. With the whole "No gay marriage" thing. I don't see the problem. What? It's a religious thing? Too bad. It's also a legal thing.

I really liked the character Ledger created for Brokeback.. I think that's what makes that whole movie work so well. Ledger gives absolutely 100% to every role.

I don't have a problem with gay people either but I have no desire to see Browback Mountain.

.Not necessarily due to religion. Remeber the lutheran church attacked because were helping gays and lesbians. I think it is more cultural, but still you find that in other places. Culture is always influenced by religion... and the other way arround. But to find the cause for those things is almost impossible. I guess at least there are many, and with variations from one case to another.

Pity we'll never see it again. :(:(
Brokeback Mountain was a really good film. Such a sad love story.
