Texas. Everything is bigger. Even ridiculous response to a minor thing.

Good thread. I've been involved in some incredible Black Friday moments. This year, since I have money to burn, I'm going B-A-N-A-N-A-S on the situation. I think it's time to bring Allah up to the current times, gaming-wise. Plus, with a girlfriend, there's all kinds of spending to be done. Man, this is going to be the first money I've spent in ages.

Last year some people got kicked out of the store for pushing and shoving but nothing major happened.

T-Shirt Hell, who try too hard in general, are occasionally hilarious and are offering a Black (people) Friday sale, just for black people (people who use promotion code "IMBLACK"), which cracks my shit up. Here's a selection for Rachel:

8 panties for $25 with free shipping? This is relevant to my interests.

And mine. For what it's worth, those are like the hottest type, too.

That's good, because Allah finds them insanely hot.

Forgive my ignorance but is this similar to Australias boxing day/new years sales after x-mas where they offer some ridiculous mark down like 90% on a big ticket item like a fridge but the catch is theirs only 1

Last time we had these type of cut price sales some dude lost a few fingers in the stampede so they banned the gimmick

I was actually going to guess Walmart

The day after Thanksgiving is the biggest shopping day of the year in America, so everyone offers outrageous deals on some things to get you in their store. If you scout it out right, you can make some sick scores. I've spend about $3K today, and would have spent a minimum of 10 the rest of the year.

Really? I don't like crowds, but there's a sick pleasure I take in that heaving bovine anxiety that you can literally feel palpating as you wait for the doors to swing open. There's something primal and amazing about knowing that a high percentage of the people around you are formulating plans as to their course of action if a riot breaks out. My favorite day of the year.

Just punch them and see how the day pans out. It could all turn out swell!
Some people will offer you their hand and some won't
Last night I knew you, tonight I don't
I need somethin' strong to distract my mind
I'm gonna look at you 'til my eyes go blind

You have to learn to enjoy the spectacle.

You're not kidding, some Wal-Mart employee got trampled to death in New York.
