That's why I said that. Like I'd go out on a day like this, people are stupid shits when it comes to stuff. I know we need to stimluate the economy, which means consuming en mas, but they should extend the sales to the weekend... they'll see a much more subdue atmosphere.

It's going to feel like this, now until Christmas. :( I should just start doing all my shopping online.

Sorry vessel, I'm catching up on reading the threads and I read this one first before the other one.

No need to be sorry. :D

I get overwhelmed on a normal day at the store, my mom told me about how nuts shopping was today, and I knew if I had gone I would probably ended up killing and consuming the people around me out of sheer frustration.

Anybody here about the guy in New York who got trampled at a mall or something like that? That's crazy.

Also there was a gunfight inside of a Toys 'R Us in California, I guess it was gang related and both gunmen killed each other.

Because Crips and Bloods collect action figures, and a sale item shall not fall into enemy hands.

I went in a Walmart in California once. I think a little bit of my soul died there.

Reading this it sounds like the authorities went AWOL and when they did the queue 2000 strong turned into a mob

By 4:55, with no police officers in sight, the crowd of more than 2,000 had become a rabble, and could be held back no longer. Fists banged and shoulders pressed on the sliding-glass double doors, which bowed in with the weight of the assault. Six to 10 workers inside tried to push back, but it was hopeless

should round the lot of them up and dispose of them...lowlife idiots

Which ever way you look at these binge shopping expeditions the common theme seems to be...

ridiculously early starts, people camping out for days
resulting in sub-human behaviour

For starters they should start using the police to disperse these idiots that camp out days in advance.

Why not make the bargains into an auction or a lottery instead of a feeding frenzy where he who acts like the biggest animal on the block gets the goodies?
