I’m starting this thread because I have a question, but everyone can use it if they need someone’s help to translate something.

Does a manuscript tablet means something to you guys in the context of classical music (or litterature)? I’m having a hard time understanding it. I think it might simply be a manuscript score, but I’m not sure.

I know what a manuscript is. I know what a tablet is. I can't say I've heard of a manuscript tablet, but in doing a search it seems its many pages of lined paper to help writing in a straight line.

Thanks a lot, I think you’re right, it fits.

FYI, here is what the guy was asking a translation for:
« Her talent extended beyond the stage to the manuscript tablet and the keyboard; twelve sonatas for fortepiano and violin of hers survive, six of which have been recorded. »
