Also I'm looking forward to Annihilation. I think Natalie really scored getting attached to this one. It could be just what she needs to give her profile a boost after the attention from Black Swan has waned. It's an interesting sci-fi story and with Alex Garland directing it's got a lot of potential.

Natalie Portman's career is doing great. She's been off the map a few times before and always comes back with a vengeance. But Annihilation looks good. It's easy to forget this underrated Alex Garland classic. I mean he wrote it.

A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night - the first Iranian Western/vampire tale. Memorable imagery, great cinematography and cool female lead.

Those weird micro budget movies are usually my favorite to watch. I'll check that one out. I loved this one.

Image

Filmed with no permission at both Disney parks using regular Cannon cameras to avoid suspicion. That alone is totally worth watching it.

Image

The guy goes crazy at Disneyland starts seeing fucked up shit.

Image

The son becomes a Macaulay Culkin from hell.

Image

The guy even starts seeing flying Tinkerbells.

Image

Great Disney movie.

Here’s another micro budget movie that’s really good.

Image

Christopher Nolan’s first movie. Makes El Mariachi look like a badly dubbed piece of crap.

Image

He follows people. Enough said.

These guys are playing it fast and loose with time travel and the resulting paradoxes. What could go wrong?

You need a chart to explain this movie

I've been watching the animated show Archer lately. It's by far one of the funniest shows out there. You could say it's kind of esoteric. I mean sort of.

A superspy agent with somewhat dubious methods. The animation is great.

Here he is having a night of complete debauchery.

Natalie Portman worked with Milos Forman in Goya's Ghost. He also directed this incredible movie. This one I highly recommend.

Ragtime. One of the true underrated classics from the 80's.

These racist motherfuckers made a huge mistake.

The messed around with the wrong people.

Supposedly The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a deeply esoteric film. I've only seen bits and pieces so I need to watch the whole thing sometime to see what all the hub-bub is about.

The weird and wacky world of Zardoz

Image
The elites live in isolation separated from the rest of humanity while living a feckless and apathetic life

Image
Everyone else ekes out a barbarian existence while manipulated into obedience by false gods

Image
Only Zed can set things right

As ridiculous as it seems, this movie is scarily prophetic.

Other movie that is my favorite. Man has unlikely visitor and learn to play music. Other people do not like them playing music. Sad ignorant people.
