Indirectly, this news seems to confirm that Natalie will not be in Ragnarok :(

'Creed' Star Tessa Thompson Joining 'Thor 3':

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/creed-star-tessa-thompson-joining-876760

Details for Thompson’s part have not been revealed, but she could be the female lead as Natalie Portman, who was the female lead as Dr. Jane Foster in the previous two Thor installments, is not returning.

Ironically, Thompson is due to also shoot Annihilation, Alex Garland’s follow-up to Ex Machina, opposite Portman this spring.

Tessa Thompson (Creed) has entered the Marvel Universe. The young actress first will star opposite Natalie Portman in Alex Garland’s Annihilation then segue to Thor: Ragnarok as Chris Hemsworth’s love interest. That third installment of the franchise is expected to start production at the end of July.

Sources tell Deadline that the character Thompson will play will be a kind of superhero and will appear in other Marvel films as well. Thompson is a regular in the HBO’s series Westworld opposite Anthony Hopkins which resumed production this week.

It is quite sad, actually ...

It's a shame because the premise of the character was interesting: an astrophysicist with human frailties that teaches the god of Asgard the value of mortality ... and love. The development is a different story: by suppressing the secret human identity that Thor had in the comics, Jane was totally out of his adventures... and Natalie always did what she could with the character.

... and yes, it's a shame that they have replaced her by "cosplay" Valkyries. Anyway ... if that's what the fans want, I'm not one to go against it...

Kevin Feige in person confirms that Natalie will not be in Thor Ragnarok:

http://comicbook.com/marvel/2016/05/13/kevin-feige-confirms-no-natalie-portman-in-thor-ragnarok/

Tony Stark isn't the only one missing his girlfriend while appearing on screen. When Thor: Ragnarok rolls around in 2017, the God of Thunder will be missing his Jane Foster.

When asked by Empire Film whether the rumors of Natalie Portman sitting Thor: Ragnarok out were true, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige simply responded, "I can confirm that, yes."

As for why, there are "many reasons," according to Feige. "Many of which are in the film so you will see that," he says. "There are only a couple of scenes on Earth in this movie. 80 to 90 percent takes place in the cosmos."

The exploration of the cosmos in Ragnarok will be no joke - something else Feige was willing to spill. "Tonally and geographically there are a lot of different planets outside of the nine realms that we visit in Thor: Ragnarok," the executie producer says.

I saw Civil War yesterday ... and I hope the finale they give to the Jane Foster´s character in Ragnarok is at least as worthy as Pepper Potts: she doesn´t appear, but has a really good dramatic sense to Robert Downey´s character (as well leave it open in case they need her to Infinite Wars). It would be sad that simply Thor forget about her and move to the next scene...

Well... It seems that they have not squeezed their minds to explain the absence of the character of Jane in the film: simply Thor and Jane broke up...

There will definitely be no cameo...

http://www.etonline.com/everything-we-learned-set-thor-ragnarok-new-looks-potential-spinoffs-and-lots-laughs-87311

A brand new love interest: Ragnarok marks the first Thor movie without Natalie Portman's Jane Foster, but though she may be gone, she is not forgotten. "We mention it, politely," Hemsworth says. "We have a nice little-- I wouldn't say a joke at her expense, by any means, but at the two of them [and] how Thor viewed the separation. He thinks it was mutual. [Laughs.] Y'know, long-distance relationships are tough and this is as long as they get. So, they parted ways."

Well... I saw Thor Ragnarok yesterday (here in Spain was released this weekend) ... and the only thing I have to say is that Natalie has fully hit on leaving this ragged parody. Jesus, what a way to spoil a film by taking the formula of another (guardians of the galaxy) and taking everything to absolute paroxysm. The Jack Kirby´s aesthetics and the eighties music are very beautiful, but ... why? What a stupid way to spoil the story of the Ragnarok from the comics....
